The Access to Education Project for All Children in Mali is managed by the Education Development Center and is implemented by a coalition of local and international NGOs affiliated with the International NGO Forum in Mali (FONGIM). This alliance bears the name EDC-FONGIM. Project activities aim to ensure access to quality education and retention of students. First, in order to increase access to quality education, the project includes initiatives that ensure that teachers in the project schools are well trained and have access to educational materials, parents are involved in their children's education, and schools have access to support and supervision. This project is based on the concept that such initiatives allow the child to complete their primary education and succeed in school. As part of sustaining the impact of the project, the project will train NGO partners and Ministry of Education staff to carry out the work at the end of the project.
