

In 2018, Education Above All (EAA)’s Al Fakhoora programme partnered with the General Directorate of Endowments (AWQAF) and leading universities to establish its Qatar Scholarship Programme in Qatar (formerly Dynamic Futures Qatar). The Qatar Scholarship Programme currently includes the following partner universities: Qatar University, University of Doha for Sciences & Technology, Qatar Foundation Universities, Al Rayan International University College, Oryx Universal College with LJMU Qatar, Qatar Finance and Business Academy, Arkansas State University in Qatar, Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

Education Above All, through it global programme, Educate A Child, is partnering with Street Child in a multi-country project in West Africa to enrol 96,000 OOSC in quality primary education over the course of four years. The project targets OOSC in low-resource environments [in Liberia and Sierra Leone - 54,000 OOSC] and emergency context [in North Nigeria - 42,000 OOSC]. Specifically, the project in Northern Nigeria aims to reach and enrol into quality primary education children who are in conflict-affected areas, both host communities and refugees and/or internally displaced; while in Sierra Leone and Liberia the project will target children who reside in rural and urban communities, children with disabilities, and the overaged. These OOSC often grapple with social, economic, infrastructural and instructional obstacles. The goals of the EFECT project will be achieved through several strategic interventions, which include community sensitisation; teacher training and support; cash transfers and incentivised savings schemes; construction of safe and secure classrooms and/or learning centres; and the recruitment of community teachers for the learning centres. Project aims to ensure the continuity of education for 90,000 high school students in Gaza through the successful administration of electronic General Secondary Examinations (Tawjihi). In partnership with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and UNDP, the project will establish 100 fully equipped educational centers, providing reliable internet, stable power, and secure digital exam platforms. The project will distribute 10,000 tablets to students to enable secure online examinations, ensuring access despite infrastructure collapse. Structured academic support will reach 30,000 students through remedial courses, mock exams, and orientation sessions, as well as psychosocial support services to enhance resilience and mental well-being. Spanning April 2025 to March 2026, the project targets both the 2024 and 2025 Tawjihi cohorts through five exam rounds. A sustainability plan ensures that these centers will evolve into permanent digital learning hubs, advancing long-term educational recovery in Gaza. Objective: To ensure continuity of secondary education for high school students in Gaza by enabling the inclusive, resilient, and effective administration of the Tawjihi examinations through digital and in-person modalities.
